Where Do You Call Your Coffee Obsession Home?
Everyone has that one spot they like to call home with their coffee. For some, it might be the local coffee shop or Starbucks where they feel the calmness that surrounds that wonderful, hot cup of java. For others, it might be the quiet comfort of their own home before the kids get out of bed as they enjoy 5 minutes of silence before the rat race starts.

Where Is My Coffee Obsession Home?
I have one place that trumps all others in my quest for the perfect spot to partake in the coffee experience. While this will not apply to all, it feeds my craving for all things coffee related with a madness that creates excitement when the situation arises.
As a mountain biker, I often take trips throughout the year to the mountains. The most economical way to load up a bunch of gear and find a place to rest my head is by camping or renting a cabin close to the trails. This sets the scene for my favorite coffee experience.
There is nothing quite like waking up in the morning in the mountains and enjoying a hot cup of pressed coffee. With the brisk air, dew on the wooden bench and the sound of water rushing in the background, I grab a sweatshirt and sit outside while the sun rises and I prepare for a day of chaos in the woods.
The sharp, clean air mixed with the steam and aroma of a freshly brewed cup creates an overwhelming sense of calmness that can only be found in the mountains. The day is about to start and it is getting started off on the right foot…gazing into the peaks with an orange sun making its appearance in a sweatshirt with warm hands around my cup.

While I generally must sip my coffee from the comfort of my home, my favorite place to drink coffee is near or on the beach, where I can listen to the sound of the waves. It’s very relaxing!
I’m a brand leech so any starbucks or costa, or lately coffee nation. I’m on the road so much I need places I can rely on.
I love coffee at home though
Robb:
I live in Paulding County, so we have limited options for coffee. Just three miles away from the house however, is a Starbucks. We have gotten to know the crew and enjoy a weekend morning sipping coffee and reading the paper.
At the end of May however, I am heading to Athens, Greece. I am looking forward to enjoying coffee in a sidewalk shop there. I will report back about the coffee experience in Greece when I return.
