YC is en route to Joshua Tree National Park from Los Angeles. Everyone here is uber-cool with a totally great attitude. The coffee and pastries are great. They have poetry and bands that reinforce the vibe. Nearby is a place called Pioneertown where a LOT of a-list Hollywood and rocker celebs have remote getaways. Who knows who you might see at Water Canyon! This one is my favorite.

It just opened in downtown Alpharetta. I like what they're trying to do, but I'm not sure it has the right atmosphere (i.e. it's not at all like your photo above).I was a huge fan of the Village Veranda back when it was open.
