These days, it starts with the same visit to the same Starbucks at Cumberland (Cobb Pkwy). By midday I've moved onto a pot of pressed something or other.Oh, and run to Starbucks for a double shot of espresso before a ride is always a great ritual.

I don’t know if it’s the tactile sensation of having a cup of coffee in my hand, but most of my day I spend with a cup of coffee (sometimes tea) in my hand. It's like a security blanket. And my last cup of the day after dinner a nice demitasse from my stovetop expresso pot. Killer.

Ditto: Coffee before all else in the morning and the press is the only way to fly.

I also must, I repeat, must have a cup of coffee in my hand when going into a meeting at the office. I typically don't have my first weekday cup until I am dressed and heading out the door to drop the kids off. Weekends are a whole-nother animal! LOLMy favorite though - is the coffee klatch I have with three friends/neighbors once in a while. When our schedules permit - we gather at one of our homes, brew a pot of coffee, serve some snacks and catch-up. A truly civilized way to start the day.Hillary

Similar routine here – my husband sets up coffee pot at night before bed, sets timer to make coffee at 7.
